Grassi Lakes

I headed out to Grassi lakes at around noon to get some photos/ climb. I met some super nice people (Steve, Angie, Tricia, Helen and another girl, but I forget her name). We climbed at the Gardner's wall area it was really nice to have the new staging platfomrs that the volunteers built. Before they were built, anything left on the ground would end up rolling down the slope. After the gardeners wall area we headed up to white imperilist area, I tried to climb the alt start to A Bold New Plan .. but we were pressed for time so I didn't have a chance to work past the crux. (reading between the lines that means I am weak and the overhang kicked my butt) I plan on going back sometime and finishing it off. At around 5:00 the volunteers showed up and we started putting up more chain fencing around some Native Rock Paintings in the Grace Land area. We worked untill dark, and got 7 4x4 posts installed in rocky soil, while other people continued to to work on hiding the old trail, and making the new trail more obvious.
