One thing I enjoy doing is coming up with Ideas on how to do things better, My Friend David Anderson and I talk about our Ideas all the time. I thought it would be fun to write up a page that discusses my Ideas that I think would be super cool, and are beyond my means to create.

February 28, 2004 Toilet overflow auto shutoff .. a little sensor that stops water flow to the toilet when it is about to overflow.

February 26, 2004 T-Shirt with the text "Hot Italian Sausage" and maybe a little picture of a sausage.

February 7, 2004 Spam Filter: Stop those annoying Spam messages from even being delivered using an authentication / user Integrity system.

October 2003: Remote Shutter release for Canon 10D / 1D / D30, and whatever other camears that use the N3 Canon Connector.

Right now Dave and I are working on making this .. using IR. We plan on using Plastic Injection molding to create the Canon N3 Connector becase we have found no reasonable way of purchasing them. We hope to sell a few of these on E-bay and make a little money at it. Right now Similar products from Canon Sell for $400, but we figure we can make a small profit if we sell for $50 US. Other Home Manufactured Canon Remotes are selling for US$150 on E-bay right now. If we manage to make a decent N3 type connector, we will probably sell the connector to other people making home manufactured releases .. like tounge or bite activated shutter releases for skydivers and such.

June 2003: Home Computer: A Computer system about the size of a VCR that would sit in your living room beside your TV. It would have the following capabilities.

TV Recording: Record and play back TV
DVD Recording: Record things to DVD
Network Connection: Allow all computers on the local network to store and watch movies from the Home Computer
Web Server: you can access all settings, and share files from any computer connected to the internet.
E-Mail Server: It would collect E-mail from your e-mail accounts then serve them to any computer Via IMAP or Webmail
Phone Answering: It would have a voice mail so you could store voice messages on the computer, and also let you retrieve messages through the email server
Fax Machine: You would use it like a printer to send faxes from any computer on the internet, it would deliver received faxes through the e-mail server.

Right now I imagine this Unit would sell for around $2000, and could easily sell a couple million units.. That is $4Billion Dollars so who ever wants to lend me some cash to develop this system it might be a good investment.
